Around Miroslawiec lives a herd counting approximately 40 of wisents. Wisents are most frequently observed in rangeries Betyń, Nieradź, Hanka and Toporzyk Mirosławiec forest division and the fields of village Piecnik, Próchnowo, Hanka and Marcinkowice in communes Mirosławiec and Wałcz.
